Brad Carlson CPT, RTSm, MATS is the director of Active Edge MAT.
Brad is a certified Muscle Activation Specialist, a Mastery Level Resistance Training Specialist (96 hour course on biomechanics and how it affects the body), and a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Brad also has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Univ. of Wisc. River Falls, where he also played 3 years of college hockey.
Through the mid 90’s and up until 2007, Brad traveled internationally doing fitness and wellness presentations for specialty fitness, large chain sporting goods retailers, and corporations. Brad has also lectured at personal trainer and chiropractic conferences , as well as, at chiropractic colleges, insurance companies and physically therapy clinics on strength training exercise.
In 2009, Brad has lectured at the Colorado High School Coaches Association for Track and Field, the Tri-County Fall Sports coaches conference and the Melody Fairchild Running Camp on “The Science of Stretching and It’s Affects on Soft Tissue”.
